This is one of your minimalist, avant garde poems, isn't it Trousers? I'm looking, I'm thinking -

Er...oof. Yes and no, signs.

No, since that wasn't the intention (is it ever?): but yes, since it fits into the same aesthetic. More looking, less thinking, is what I would recommend :)

That's obviously cause you were saving all the words for today....
Thanks for a great day, really enjoyed myself, as of course I always do.

I've come through FireByrd, and discovered you like Umberto Eco. This is truly a small world after all.

Hi lakeviewer, and nice of you to drop by! I've only read Foucault's Pendulum in its entirety, but I found it an amazing read. I have others by him, but have yet to get stuck into them.

have others ... but have yet to get stuck into them - you're the only person i know to admit this sort of thing. it's humbling, i've always felt a kind of humbug with half read books lying around giving me the appearance of being better read than i really am.

Hi mei, I've loads of unread books! I've no shame in admitting it - there's one by Umberto Eco which I've got halfway through at least twice, and then lost my way with it for whatever reason, and have yet to tackle it again.

Mind you, one evening when I'd invited a number of friends round, I left a copy of Dante's The Divine Comedy on the coffee table (I hadn't even bought the book myself, somebody gave it to me), to make it look as though I was reading it - thankfully it made people laugh when I told them I hadn't read a single word of it.

You are lost for words and still get 11 comments!

Yes I'm pleased to have done so as well j.j., things had been getting a bit quiet round here, aside from my own lack of words.
